Description
The higher altitude of the Eden Valley, about 700 metres above sea level, makes for cool nights and mild daytime temperatures ideal for producing wines with fresh acidity. The grapes are harvested in the early hours of the morning, pressed cold and the juice fermented in stainless steel to preserve the delicate fruit characters of the variety. A Riesling of substance. Full and textured, the palate opens up to layers of flavor; citrus zest with mineral talc and flint with fresh limes. The palate is balanced with a fine steely texture supported by a backbone of crunchy acidity. The finish is long, elegant and complex. Makes fish and seafood dishes shine.
