Description
The estate, Quinta de Remostias, remains from the XVIII century & is located in Peso da Régua, the center of Douro Valley. Mainly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz this wine represents a 50 year old field blend. With 30 percent spending nine to twelve months in new and used French oak barriques this red shows the terroir of Douro at its best.
Aromatic, bold and elegant Rola Douro Tinto shows the fruit of the vineyard and the character of the soil. The classic Douro tannins bring the wine an incredible complex structure and profile and yet it manages to remain well balanced by a real freshness throughout. This combination makes it an elegant and complex wine that can be enjoyed alone or with food.
