Description
Moulin de Gassac was created in the early 90s by the father and founder of Mas de Daumas Gassac, Aimé Guibert. As a result of his discovery of the exceptional amphitheatre site of Villeveyrac, an unusual partnership was born. Following the introduction of the vine pulling-up premium, he began a to work with the vine growers in this area with a view to saving its plots. The Moulin de Gassac Selection played a decisive role in preventing the disappearance of this terroir.
Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Rosé is a beautifully transparent salmon pink colour that simply sparkles in sunshine. You will get aromas of fresh picked strawberries and crushed red fruits – such as raspberries and cherries – get a lift from floral accents and a hint of citrus rind. On the palate, it is bright and crisp but also fleshy and rich, with loads of ripe berry fruit, a burst of ripe and round watermelon and you will note just a touch of minerality. The wine fills your mouth with flavour and fun.
