If it ain’t broke don’t fix it is the best approach to German 🇩🇪 #lager. That doesn’t mean there isn’t room for some trendy new craft ideas though. @fuerstwiacekbrew are a Berlin brewery using German and Uk ingredients to make some top craft brews.

They’ve really nailed down the classic German lager styles though so that’s what we’ve picked up a couple of here.

Our last drop from Aussie #naturalwine stars, @fin.wines went down rather well so we’ve added a couple more to the lineup this time.

Le Vin Du Rosier - Zinfandel and Garnacha an 11% juice bomb with a smattering of pepper that works brilliantly out of the fridge on a balmy evening.

Speedo Gris - A Pinot Gris with a bit of everything thrown at it. Some skin Contact, a sprinkle of carbonic maceration, some destemmed, some oaked. Fresh, funky, juicy

I’m All Ears - Glera (best known for Prosecco)but a totally different beast here. Creamy yet full of crisp and succulent Pears and Lemons at a dangerously quaffable 9.7%.

Another perfect day for a #shandy….. sorry #radler. They really are some of the best beach beers on a sunny day. Joining the dominate Germans in the fridge this week is a plucky upstart from #brighton ‘s very own #unbarredbrewery. Can it go all the way or is it going out to Kuntz again? (The childish #Euro96 reference that never gets old).
